Hurricane Harvey pummeled the Texas Coast just about two weeks ago leaving catastrophic devastation in its wake. As the weather cleared up and the flood waters receded residents and volunteers began to rebuild their homes and cities.
Like much of the Texas coast the tourist town of Port Aransas is filled with homes and businesses and it will be a long time before the storm’s damage is repaired. However, the city of Port Aransas has come out of this stronger than ever! Last weekend they began to let residents enter the city and The Evey Edwards Group with the help of a few friends hit the streets to aid in the cleanup efforts. Here are a few photos to show you the “mess” so many were left with.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, we want to acknowledge the efforts made by the many volunteers and emergency workers all along the Texas Coast, who have given so much to those in desperate need. We are standing with you - our hearts and prayers go out to all of those affected.
